In Bolt, champion steeplechase jockey Kit Fielding finds himself caught between two different kinds of "killing." On the track, he is fighting for wins; off the track, he is fighting for his life and the safety of those he loves.
The trouble starts when Kit is asked to help his fiancée’s family, who are being terrorized by a ruthless businessman. The threats escalate from corporate sabotage to the gruesome use of a "captive bolt" pistol—a tool used for slaughtering horses. As Kit navigates a maze of international arms dealing and family vendettas, he must use every ounce of his courage and tactical wit to stay in the saddle and out of the crosshairs.
