This is the beautiful debut album by Enya, originally recorded in 1986 as her soundtrack work for the BBC documentary series The Celts and later re-released worldwide in 1992 under the title The Celts.

The front cover features a striking, atmospheric photograph of Enya seated against a weathered stone wall with peeling paint and carved inscriptions. She wears a richly textured dark robe with red and gold patterns, her short dark hair framing her thoughtful gaze. The album title appears in elegant lowercase script: enya the celts.

The back cover displays a close-up portrait of Enya in a warm, reddish-toned image, with the full 15-track tracklist clearly printed:

1.  The Celts

2.  Aldebaran

3.  I Want Tomorrow

4.  March of the Celts

5.  Deireadh an Tuath

6.  The Sun in the Stream

7.  To Go Beyond (I)

8.  Fairytale

9.  Epona

10.  Triad: St. Patrick / Cu Chulainn / Oisín

11.  Portrait (Out of the Blue)

12.  Boadicea

13.  Bard Dance

14.  Dan y Dŵr

15.  To Go Beyond (II)

Produced by Nicky Ryan, this album showcases Enya’s signature ethereal vocals, multi-layered harmonies, and Celtic-inspired new-age sound that would define her global career.

The CD is housed in its original clear jewel case and includes the complete original booklet with lyrics, credits, and photographs. Expect some wear and scratches to case and booklet.
