This is the iconic final studio album by the legendary American folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel (Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel), released on January 26, 1970. Widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time, it topped charts worldwide, won multiple Grammys (including Album of the Year), and remains a landmark in 20th-century popular music.

The front cover features a soft, atmospheric photograph of the duo standing outdoors in cold weather — Paul Simon in the foreground with longer hair and a serious expression, Art Garfunkel slightly behind with his distinctive curly hair and a gentle smile. The title is overlaid in bold blue lettering: Simon and Garfunkel Bridge Over Troubled Water. The CBS “Stereo” logo (noting it can also be played on mono equipment) appears in the top left corner, with catalogue number 63699.

The back cover, in a faded greenish-blue tone with lyrics printed in full (including choruses and spoken-word style notes), lists the 11-track lineup:

Side 1

1.  Bridge Over Troubled Water (4:52)

2.  El Condor Pasa (If I Could) (3:06)

3.  Cecilia (2:55)

4.  Keep the Customer Satisfied (2:33)

5.  So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright (3:41)

6.  The Boxer (5:08)

Side 2

1.  Baby Driver (3:14)

2.  The Only Living Boy in New York (3:57)

3.  Why Don’t You Write Me (2:45)

4.  Bye Bye Love (live) (2:55)

5.  Song for the Asking (1:39)

All songs written by Paul Simon (except “Bye Bye Love” by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, and “El Condor Pasa” traditional Andean folk arranged with English lyrics by Simon). Produced by Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, and Roy Halee; engineered by Roy Halee. Featured musicians include Larry Knechtel (keyboards), Fred Carter Jr. (guitar), Hal Blaine (drums), and others from the Wrecking Crew, with orchestral arrangements adding gospel, Latin, and rock elements.

A timeless masterpiece blending folk, gospel, rock, and world influences — featuring eternal hits like the title track (a gospel-inspired epic), “The Boxer,” “Cecilia,” and “El Condor Pasa.” Perfect for collectors of 1960s/1970s folk-rock, vinyl enthusiasts, or anyone seeking one of the best-selling and most acclaimed albums ever made.

The vinyl is housed in its original laminated picture sleeve (with lyrics and credits printed on the reverse), showing age-appropriate wear consistent with a 50+ year-old collectible. Please expect some wear and tear to the sleeve.
